Het zal u niet ontgaan zijn dat de genealogiedatabase gestuurd wordt vanuit het php-script 'phpmyfamily'
Het programma kunt u downloaden via zijn maker op phpfamily.net.

Omdat beheer en programma's toch al engels/amerikaans georienteerd zijn vertaal ik hetgeen daarover hiernaast in het engels staat niet; het is immers bedoeld voor beheerders en programmeurs.

Omdat ik de vertaling heb gemaakt voor de Nederlandstalige module bevat deze pagina de nieuwste versie van de nederlandse taalmodule.
Waarschuw me als u suggesties voor verbeteringen hebt zodat ik mijn prioriteiten kan verleggen :-)

Op dit moment is de Nederlandstalige module nog niet geintegreerd in de laatste versie. Vandaar dat de noodzakelijke wijzigingen met de hand moeten worden uitgevoerd; de gebruiksaanwijzing is ook opgenomen in de zip-file. De vertaling volgt op dit moment versie 1.4

In de zip-file is een leesmij.txt aanwezig waarin precies staat hoe de taalmodule kan worden ingebouwd.
Verder zijn in de zipfile kleine modificaties opgenomen die desgewenst ingebouwd kunnen worden. Alle modificaties die er in staan zijn op deze site werkzaam.

De 2 nieuwe modules "voorouders" en "nakomelingen" zijn hier te uploaden. De diepte van de output is onbeperkt.

Als er vragen zijn: gebruik het Forum, het is er voor en je krijgt in ieder geval antwoord, iets wat besist niet gebeurd als je me mailt en er een typefout in je emaladres zit! Eerlijk het is gebeurt en het resultaat is frustrerend voor beide partijen.

You can find phpmyfamily at the phpfamily homepage.
From that page: Phpmyfamily is intended to allow geographically dispersed family members to maintain a central database of research which is readily accessable and editable. It allows family members to contribute as and when information becomes available without requiring them to send it to a central 'custodian.' At the same time, it allows the general public to view your tree (subject to the restrictions below) to see if they match.

Infomation regarding the identities of people born after 01/01/1910 are hidden from general browsing but are freely available to 'registered' users.

As well as maintaining links for parents, siblings, spouses and children, there are free text capabilities for the recording of anecdotes, information etc, recording of census details, capability to upload images and document transcripts. Please note that html tags in the notes field WILL be rendered.

phpmyfamily is NOT intended to provide a 'all the worlds related' database with many users working on separate trees aka familyreunited.com. While there is no requirement for individuals in the database to be linked into a central structure, all users can see all records etc.

phpmyfamily on this site originally was slightly adapted to fit the rest of the site. At this moment however my mods go far beyond the original intentions and is not compatible anymore with the original database. My old compatible modules however are here to stay for some time.

As the Dutch translation is not (yet) embedded in the distributionfile, you can download the needed files here.

Unzip the zipfile the usual way.
In the zip-file you'll find a readme.txt with the instructions to install it.
Added to the zipfile are some minor modifications included.

For those interested in the modules "ancestors" and "descendants": you can download them here. Instructions are inside the zip-file.

If you have any questions: use the Forum. You will be sure that your question is answered, something that won't happen if there is a typo in your emailadres when you mail me! Honest, it happened and such is frustrating for both parties.
